7 Key Features in F1 25’s Season 3 Update
F1 25 is showing no signs of slowing down, with a third season of live service updates underway to keep fans hooked. Running until 17th November, Season 3 relives key moments from the Haas F1 Team’s ten-year history in a series of challenges, offering a raft of in-game rewards to win. Additionally, one driver sees a steep drop in the revamped driver ratings. The 2025 Formula 2 teams and drivers also join the grid, and new rewards can be unlocked in the latest Podium Pass. We’ve got everything you need to know about F1 25 Season 3.

How to Unlock Haas 2025 Suzuka Livery and Race Helmet
Headlining Season 3 is a new challenge event that celebrates the Haas team’s debut race at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix, in which Grosjean finished in sixth after starting near the bottom of the grid in 19th place.
Driving the team’s current car, the scenario challenges you to take Esteban Ocon from tenth to a podium position.
Achieving this will unlock multiple rewards, including the team’s striking livery seen at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix:
· Haas 2025 Suzuka livery
· Esteban Ocon’s 2025 Suzuka race helmet
· Esteban Ocon‘s 2025 Miami race helmet
For a chance to win these rewards, the Haas-themed scenario is accessed in F1 World’s Solo & Multiplayer Events – but you only have until 15th October. Once unlocked, the livery and helmets can be selected when racing as Haas.

2025 Formula 2 Cars Join the Grid

Another highlight is the addition of the 2025 Formula 2 championship’s team and driver roster, including championship leader Leonardo Fornaroli. All 22 drivers and 11 teams are represented in the free update.
For the most authentic experience, you can replicate the 2025 Formula 2 14-race championship. Alternatively, the V6-powered F2 cars can be raced on any of the Formula 1 calendar’s 24 locations.
Carlos Sainz Drops in Revamped Driver Ratings
To reflect the driver’s performance in the current championship, Season 3 revamps F1 25’s driver ratings. As Max Verstappen continues to show his talent on the track, the Dutch driver’s overall rating increases to 94. Conversely, Carlos Sainz drops to 84. Hopefully, his rating will increase in the next update after the Spanish driver recently secured his first podium finish with Williams in Baku.
The biggest surprise, however, is that Lewis Hamilton retains his overall 90 rating, despite his ongoing struggles during his first season at Ferrari.
New Podium Pass
A refreshed Podium Pass also brings 50 tiers of free and VIP rewards. Unlocked by progressing through the game, free rewards include a Transmitter livery set (vehicle livery, race suit, gloves) and 2,500 PitCoin.
VIP Podium Pass players, meanwhile, can unlock the Monnaie Paris 2 sponsor livery set and receive 6,500 PitCoin points.
Enhanced AI-Rival Performance
Ahead of the aforementioned ‘live service’ features, some of which are live now, and others will be rolled out across October and November through additional challenges, came a general game patch.
Version 1.12 delivered an update to how AI-controlled on-track rivals behaved in single player. The aim was not to make them quicker or slower - although wet performance is slightly trimmed - but more authentic.
They are now braking later at corner entry, and struggling more with traction at corner exit. Their superior behaviour was always more noticeable in the rain, while you often slid about in comparison, and so now the delta should be narrowed.
Updated Aerodynamic Packages

All 10 cars have received visual updates, from front wings to engine covers. With real-world teams continually evolving and updating their race cars, often with small changes, the F1 game development team can’t cover every tweak across the season.
But, for the first few months of the yearly game, they do provide large, more noticeable updates when possible. This time, perhaps the most notable changes come to the nose of the Mercedes and Ferrari sponsor decals.
